Camping Stove Model 508 Coleman?

I had bought a Coleman Model 508 camping stove at a garage sale for $5, and it smells like gas. When I light it, it burns for about 2 seconds then goes out. How do I fix it so it burns constantly until I turn it off, and get it to not smell like gas?
Where can i find a new generator for like $10 or less?
And how would i take it apart and put in the new generator, or how to clean it?
What do they call them at Walmart and how much do they cost?

You may have to replace the generator and the rubber seals on the tank cap and pump piston. When these old stoves sit around the seals dry out and crack and the generator may have cracks in it you can’t see. $5 bucks you get what you pay for. New these things sell for $85 so don’t spend too much. if you can find parts.
